Fuel Up to Play 60 — Dynamic Duos

 

 

 
Courtney and Tim
Erin School District, Hartford

Wisconsin State Student Ambassador Courtney and Fuel Up to Play 60 Program Advisor Tim Mueller teamed up to implement a running club at Erin School. They made a difference by getting half of their school active twice a week through this activity. They both enjoy leadership opportunities and represented Wisconsin at the national Student Ambassador Summit.

Riverside Elementary, Ringle

Wisconsin MVP Elijah works with his Fuel Up to Play 60 Program Advisor Kevin Podeweltz and implemented the Healthy Foods Everywhere Play at Riverside Elementary. They added signs and posters to promote healthy eating while adding a salad bar lunch option. They made a difference by encouraging kids to try new healthy foods.

Pleasant Prairie Elementary

Wisconsin MVP Maddie and Fuel Up to Play 60 Program Advisor Diane Epping teamed up to promote movement and exercise at Pleasant Prairie Elementary. Their team started brain breaks as a school which led to individual classrooms staying active throughout the day.

Bay View Middle School, Green Bay

Wisconsin MVP Austin and Fuel Up to Play 60 Program Advisor Kaitlyn Bloemer have worked together to create a healthy school environment at Bay View Middle School. Their kickoff event was a health and physical activity fair that included support from 35 local businesses.

Wisconsin MVP Tyra and Fuel Up to Play 60 Program Advisor Karen Gould enjoy promoting and helping kids get involved in health and wellness initiatives in the Spring Valley School District. Their team put together a MVP video that highlighted their success and getting students excited about Fuel Up to Play 60!

Marshall Middle School

Wisconsin MVP Trinity and Fuel Up to Play 60 Program Advisor Shannon Maly are taking leadership roles to help students at Marshall Middle School find ways to get fit, stay active and eat healthy. Their team developed and implemented brain breaks to get all students moving!
